LIPA Machines

11th November 2011

Now in its 9th year of production the Shelbourne Powerblade Hedge trimmer is going from strength to strength. Each year new customers and dealers in new areas are converted to the benefits of the machine. Shelbourne Reynolds has always paid very close attention to product and customer support, this stems back to the days of building pea viners and rape swathers where no “down time” was tolerated. This policy has been a popular approach in the ground care sector.

The commitment is strong to both expanding the existing range of hedge and verge trimmers as well as adding more products to the ground care line-up.

With this in mind Shelbourne Reynolds is pleased to announce a new UK distribution agreement with Libertini for their range of tractor mounted flail mowers.

”This is a departure from Shelbourne Reynolds normal in house design and manufacturing approach but has the immediate benefit of giving our dealers and customers access to over 100 models of a high quality tried and tested range of flail mowers” says Neil Smith.

This agreement comes after a number  of Lipa machines have been evaluated in the UK during 2011. Lipa

The principal machines will be the TLR range of heavy duty front or rear mounted machines available in 2m, 2.5m and 2.8m working widths, all with hydraulic offset. The TLR range is extremely heavy duty with the 2.8m TLR280 weighing in at 1260kg. As well as the robust build quality the machines feature a unique hydraulic side shift mechanism where the machine is suspended on the rams themselves rather than sliding mechanisms that can either jam or bend.

The LIPA range starts with light duty 1m wide machines suitable for compact tractors all the way up to the extra heavy duty GFM 5.5m wide folding flail mower as well as a range of forestry shredding machines.

All machines will be available through the Shelbourne Reynolds UK dealer network. A selection of machines will be on display on the Shelbourne stand at the Lamma show on January 18th-19th 2012.
