New Medium Duty (MD) Trimmer Range
27th May 2009
The all new Medium Duty (MD) range of Powerblade hedge and verge trimmers has been designed by dealer and customer demand.
The Heavy Duty (HD) range has been turning heads with contractors in the UK for 3 years now with healthy sales growth. However the comment from dealers was that they wanted an entry level machine that could compete on price with imported machines as well as have the scope to improve the specification to then appeal to the UK farmer as a general purpose trimmer.
Many of the original Shelbourne design parameters of strength and performance have been observed with the MD range.
The MD range is available with either a 4.8m fixed boom or 5.5m fixed boom, this supplements the HD ranges 5.5m Fixed boom, 6m Tele, 7m Tele and 6m VFR models.
Like all Shelbourne trimmers the MD range is pitched at the quality end of its market sector with standard power slew and parallel linkage. The base machine is a single pump design whereby the tractor hydraulics are used to power the booms and is fitted with a 1.2m heavy duty direct drive flail head and cable controls. Options include independent hydraulics, road lights, electronic joystick controls and a belt drive head.
Features setting this machine apart include exceptional build quality, strength, performance and value.
Weights including oil for the are 1350kg for the MD48 and 1410kg for the MD55. Prices will be £9,995 and £10,995 respectively.
