Thank you for your interest in job opportunities with Shelbourne Reynolds Engineering. We are manufacturers of high quality agricultural machinery and are major exporters to over 40 countries. We are looking to recruit the following positions:

 

 

Assistant Sales and Marketing Manager

 

Working as a key member of the  Sales & Marketing team; the successful candidate will find themselves with a varied, busy workload. They will act as a primary point of contact for all customers, dealers, field sales teams and manufacturing, so being an organised, communicative ‘people person’ is a must!

 

Within this involved and growing role, the duties will consist of:

 

  • Assisting the sales director with advertising and marketing.

  • Organising the company’s participation in events such as exhibitions and dealer open days.

  • To manage the website and to help us to develop a dealer login portal.

  • To keep updated the company’s social media outlets.

  • To manage our newly installed CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database and to assist with developing marketing opportunities from it.

  • Managing communications from customers, dealers and sales personnel, ensuring these are dealt with quickly and efficiently. 

  • To coordinate the receipt of orders and liaise with manufacturing regarding availability, scheduling and delivery of our products.

  • Working with our Area Sales Managers to ensure that relevant demonstrations machines are available and in position at the right time.

  • To assist the Sales Director with other duties as required.

As this is a new position, we wish to secure a candidate who will appreciate the learning curve that may come with such a role, and look to apply themselves accordingly. There is also significant scope for growth and development of the role, and genuine opportunities to progress within the firm in time.

 

Required skills, experienced and attributes are as follows:

 

 

  • The confidence to deal with people at all levels

  • A good flare for IT is important to assist us with sales and marketing innovations.

  • This job is all about customer service, developing relationships and helping the sales team to sell. This requires a friendly, lively and outgoing personality with an excellent ability to communicate both verbally and written.

  • Good organisation skills.

  • Excellent spoken and written English.

  • Being proactive with time and project management/workload.

  • A knowledge or background in agriculture would be beneficial in helping to identify customer needs and promote sales.

Mechanical Fitter

We are currently looking to recruit a mechanical fitter with experience in vehicle/agricultural machine assembly and test, a FLT licence would be an advantage but not essential.

HOURS OF WORK  

Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm.                                                                 

Friday 8.00am to 3.30 pm

There will be a ½ hour lunch break 12.30 to 1.00pm

The working pattern may vary to meet business requirements, and applicants need to remain flexible to this fact. You will however be given at least one weeks’ notice of any changes. The shift patterns that may need to be adopted are as follows:-

Early shift:-

Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.00pm (37.5 hours with a 30 minute meal break)

Late shift:-

Monday to Friday 2.00pm to 10.00pm (37.5 hours with a 30 minute meal break).

For each day worked on either of these shifts a shift payment will be made.


Welder/Fabricator

We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator with a background in agricultural machinery to join our team

Job Requirements:

  • MIG welding
  • TIG welding - useful but not essential
  • Welding mild steel & stainless steel
  • Welding steel of varying thickness from 1mm to 12mm
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings
  • You will have your own transport due to where the company is based

HOURS OF WORK  

Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm.                                                                 

Friday 8.00am to 3.30 pm
