Thank you for your interest in job opportunities with Shelbourne Reynolds Engineering. We are manufacturers of high quality agricultural machinery and are major exporters to over 40 countries. We are looking to recruit the following positions:

Mechanical Fitter

We are currently looking to recruit a mechanical fitter with experience in vehicle/agricultural machine assembly and test, a FLT licence would be an advantage but not essential.

HOURS OF WORK  

Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm.                                                                 

Friday 8.00am to 3.30 pm

There will be a ½ hour lunch break 12.30 to 1.00pm

The working pattern may vary to meet business requirements, and applicants need to remain flexible to this fact. You will however be given at least one weeks’ notice of any changes. The shift patterns that may need to be adopted are as follows:-

Early shift:-

Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.00pm (37.5 hours with a 30 minute meal break)

Late shift:-

Monday to Friday 2.00pm to 10.00pm (37.5 hours with a 30 minute meal break).

For each day worked on either of these shifts a shift payment will be made.

Welder/Fabricator

We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator with a background in agricultural machinery to join our team

Job Requirements:

  • MIG welding
  • TIG welding - useful but not essential
  • Welding mild steel & stainless steel
  • Welding steel of varying thickness from 1mm to 12mm
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings
  • You will have your own transport due to where the company is based

Shot Blast Operative

To prepare parts and assemblies by shot blasting prior to powder coating meeting defined production standards, schedules and quality requirements

The task involves Loading / unloading parts of varying sizes and weights by means of manual handling, motorised pallet trucks or forklift trucks. Parts vary from 10cm to 11m in length and 2g up to 1800Kg in weight. The larger parts are manoeuvred in close cooperation with a second team member.

The parts are loaded into a specially designed shot blast room. The parts are ‘blasted’ by iron grit using compressed air.

Due to the nature of this process operators are enclosed in this room and must wear specially designed overalls and use an air fed full head helmet

Design Engineer

Due to continuing growth of existing products and the constant evolution of new products and markets, Shelbourne Reynolds is looking to recruit to fill the following new position, Design Engineer.

Shelbourne Reynolds has long been associated with innovative design and manufacturing.

We are looking for someone with a creative and forward thinking ability to join our enthusiastic design team. The successful individual will have an agricultural background, a relevant design engineering qualification, SolidWorks software experience along with some relevant agricultural industry based design experience.

This exciting opportunity would suit both a recent graduate or a more experienced applicant.

Field Service Engineer

 

Due to our expanding UK business we are seeking to add another person to our Field Support team. 

Objective

-          To increase machinery sales through better product support

-          To decrease product warranty costs through implementation of preventative maintenance and service schedules

General Tasks

1)     Performing “in field” product updates/service repair/ warranty work.

 

2)     Providing support to the service manager during times of overload or absence.

 

3)     Producing weekly visit reports, customer details etc.

 

4)     To assist with machine demonstrations when required

 

5)     To liase between D.O and customers with reference to monitoring performance of new designs in the field.  This would involve visiting machines with specific performance or service problems and communicating back these problems to the office.  Then following up on this feedback by going back and fitting and testing modified parts.

 

6)     To service and repair contract hire Powermix machines when required.

 

7)     To assist with field support in export markets when required

 

8)     This position will often involve working away approx. 3 nights (average) per week

 

The successful applicant for this position must;

 

-          Have previous field service experience or assembly experience with Shelbourne or similar products

-          Be self motivated and hard working

-          Be able to communicate effectively and positively with customers
