Powerblade Wins at Sussex Competition

The bi-annual NAAC Sussex group Hedge Cutting competition saw Shelbourne Powerblade machines take 3 out of the 4 top places. A total of 10 competitors running a combination of Bomford, McConnel, Spearhead, Orsi and Shelbourne machines entered this year.

Competitors were judged on a variety of criteria including, hedge top, angle, verge as well as health and safety issues and general good practice. The winner Hugh Lincoln was operating his Shelbourne Powerblade HD70T. Vince Goodwin was second with a McConnell 650, Bob Hammond was third with a Shelbourne HD60T and Tim Foster was fourth with another Shelbourne HD60T.
