Powerblade Wins at Sussex Competition

The bi-annual NAAC Sussex group Hedge Cutting competition saw Shelbourne Powerblade machines take 3 out of the 4 top places. A total of 10 competitors running a combination of Bomford, McConnel, Spearhead, Orsi and Shelbourne machines entered this year.

The all new Medium Duty (MD) range of Powerblade hedge and verge trimmers has been designed by dealer and customer demand.

New Variable forward reach Trimmer model

The new 6m powerblade VFR is the only Trimmer currently available with a variable forward reach and digital proportional electronic control. The HD60VFR variable forward reach option gives  1.5 metres of forward motion, this then places the head alongside the driver rather than behind. This gives the versatility of a rear mounted machine and the operational ease of a mid mount machine. 

Launch of Powermix Pro Series

The new Powermix Pro series is the result of 12 years’ intensive testing throughout the UK and is, as such, the only diet feeder to be developed specifically for operation in UK conditions.

Notable features of the Pro Series include an all new gearbox drive system using high quality Comer gearboxes, a new lower power, faster mixing and chopping auger design and a new moulded webbing style conveyor belt system.

Powerblade range with new booms and controls

Powerblade updates for the 2006 season include new boom geometry and a new digital proportional control system.
