RSD
|
Both the RVS and RSD stripper headers are built on the same main frame, the only difference between the two models is the drive system . The RSD is fitted with a fixed speed belt drive system wheras the RVS is fitted with a variable speed belt drive system. The RSD is capable of 4 rotor speeds 450rpm, 550rpm ,650rpm and 750rpm. These speeds are selected by changing the two pulleys on the left side of the header. Changing speeds takes approximately 30 minutes and is an operation designed for different varieties or major harvesting condition changes. |

A monitor is fitted in the combine cab which displays the rotor and auger speed. The monitor has inbuilt alarms to notify the operator of problems this is critical when harvesting in particularly tough conditions. |
RSD Benefits
- Simpler drive system with fewer moving parts
- Rotor speed can be dictated by the field manager rather than the combine operator
- More power is transmitted to the rotor for tougher conditions
- Less expensive drive system

RSD Rice Special Features:
- Spring stainless steel flange tipped fingers give increased wear resistance as well as providing a more selective stripping action by stripping more rice and less flag leaf at a lower rotor speed.
- Stainless steel crop deflector for improved wear resistance
- Stainless steel floor for better feeding and improved wear resistance
- Direct feed auger trough allows the crop to be fed direct into the deeper flighted auger to give maximum performance in down rice with a minimum number of moving parts
- Stainless steel extended spill plate holds grain in the auger trough.
- Poly coated skids for muddy conditions
- Hardened auger flighting and retractable fingers for improved wear resistance
- Adaptor plate design allows external header pitch adjustment
- Heavy duty 8 spring auger slip clutch
